Adhesives are a major necessity in paper crafting but wow, there are so many out there! I was completely overwhelmed when I first started and definitely went through many different products. Some were so messy, others didn’t stick that well and others warped the paper. After my many trial and errors, see below for a list of some of my favorite adhesives:
- Scotch Advanced Tape Glider – use to adhere paper together if you don’t mind the extra bulk of the dispenser
- Tombow Stamp Runner Dot Adhesive – use to adhere paper together if you would rather a smaller dispenser
- 3M Scotch Double-Sided Foam Tape – use to add extra dimension to your cards
- Zig Two-Way Glue Pen, Fine Point – use for smaller and more delicate die cuts
- Ranger Multi Matte Medium – use to adhere small embellishments
- Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue – use when you need a liquid glue that is stronger than the Zig glue pen
- Scor-Pal Tape – use to adhere paper together when making projects such as envelopes and boxes
I hope this helps you narrow down the list of adhesives out there and prevents you from experiencing the frustration I felt when I was looking! Happy Crafting!
